- Reviewed in the United States on May 18, 2016A great summary and review of Dr. Stephen Covey 7 Habbits of Highly Effective People. It was such a nice refresher to listen to the book. I last read 7 habbits years ago. What struck me this time around listening to this book are
1) Think Win-Win or No deal
- going for a Win-Lose or Lose-Win deal is not sustainable
- going for a Win-Win deal requires careful crafting and seeking to understand first then be understood
- Being able to walk away from the deal and stay friends is also an option some people never even consider
2) Synergy vs Compromise
Love the simple way Dr. Covey explains these 2 concepts
Synergy: 1+1 > 2 (i.e. 3, or 4, or 5)
Compromise: 1+1 < 2 (i.e. 1.5)
We need to come from a place of abundance to be able to synergies.
3) Sharpen the Saw
Doing what is important and not urgent is where OUTSTANDING people spend their time
EXCELLENT people spend their doing what is Important and Urgent aka: solving problems.
A wonder review and recap. Highly recommended for a quick pick me up when you need to refresh yourself on the 7 habbits.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2012Stephen Covey breaks down the 7 Habits quickly and effectively in this easy-to-listen-to audiobook. I listened to it for the first time during an hour-long workout, and was able to finish it. The 7 Habits helped me to affirm some things I was already doing, and helped me learn about some others I was not (or not properly), but the most helpful aspect of it was that the author broke down the habits into simple language, which helped me identify some bad habits in people close to me. One of the first things Covey says is to teach what he is teaching you, which helps you learn it. I did that immediately not because I was instructed to but because I WANTED to. I immediately passed the book to friends and loved ones. I enjoyed it immensely!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 10, 2023Helpful. Thank you.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2010In my efforts to be HIGHLY EFFECTIVE, I wanted a crash course, to help me reinforce them, and this was perfect for short road trips. I do not know what I would have followed it as well, or gotten much out of it, if I had not already read the original book, however. It does not not go into depth in the same way the the book does, but it is a very good overview.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2023This is one of the books that was most important and inspirational in my life!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2016I read the book many years ago it was a very inspiring read. Now I have the. CD and it is different from the book and I love it. It helps me stay focused on what matters most. I also like the fact that it's one CD. It's as long as some of these other ones that seem to need to fix on several disks
- Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2015Went to see him live and Covey left early and let his son do an hour. He left for another engagement, not ill. I was disappointed in him about that. I didn't pay to see his son. I paid to see him. Not quite aligned with principals. His son promoted his own book which I have no interest in. 7 Habits, however, is a masterpiece.

Un libro che tutti dovrebbero leggere.
La versione audio e' molto bella e facile da seguire.
Il titolo secondo me e' molto riduttivo, i concetti toccati sono molto ampi e profondi.
Compratelo non ve ne pentirete

Mater Motivator, Its nice to listen to it, Its gist of the book.
I listen to it 6 times, I created Interest to read the book once again
so that it become my way of thinking.
Author directly speaking to you.
"you explain to others"
Wonderful to have it, we can not compare the price
we paid for audio CD and what we get..
Author has command on what he speaks.
Its not about sudden surge in motivation
its slow and study, understanding what are we,
change the way we see the things..
No Tricks No Magics..

5.0 out of 5 stars Super convenient! Learn the 7 habits while driving or stuck in traffic!
I listen to this in my car sometimes while driving on the highway or waiting in traffic. Not distracting at all, it's more of a subconscious mind training for me.
