I often get asked the question of what programming language to learn.

People, especially new programmers, get totally lost on the amount of information out there. They read a lot of different opinions about each and every programming language which makes it impossible for them to choose a programming language to learn.

Especially nowadays, the number of programming languages has grown exponentially. There are a lot of different programming languages and variations of them. Sometimes, it’s even impossible to measure the real application and “real-world” use of them. Besides that, it’s difficult to separate the good from the bad information.

In this video, I give you my best advice on the answer to this question and give you some other tips on technologies and programming languages.
