Vote for Your Favorite Podcasts in the 2016 Software Developer Podcast Awards

Back in October I published an update to The Ultimate List Of Developer Podcasts.

My goal in creating that list was to help you find the best developer podcasts out there.

The post was a huge hit—it immediately became the top blog post for the entire site.

That got me thinking: How could I make this resource even more valuable?

I was out on a run, charging up the side of a mountain here in San Diego actually, when it hit me:

What if our readers got got a voice in deciding what podcasts developers should listen to?

What if our readers got got a voice in deciding what podcasts developers should listen to?

The best podcasts for developers, chosen by their fellow developers.I decided this idea was too good to wait until next year—so today I’m announcing:

The 2016
Software Developer Podcast Awards

This is how it’s gonna work

Starting today you can vote for your favorite podcasts.

You will have until 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2016 to cast your vote.

The podcasts are broken up into several categories like Java, .NET, General Interest, so on.

You can vote for your favorite in each category.

Come January 3, I’ll announce announce the winners.

That’s when we’ll open it up for Round Two (more on that later).

Right now you have a chance to show your favorite podcast some love and help us build a great resource for everyone:
