Simple Programmer Ads API is a private, first-party advertising operations tool used by Simple Programmer to manage and report on our own Google Ads accounts.
Purpose
The tool helps authorized internal operators create and manage advertising campaigns, review performance, monitor budgets and spend, validate conversion configuration, and apply operational safeguards. New campaigns are created in a paused state for review before activation.
Who can use it
Access is limited to the owner of Simple Programmer and specifically authorized employees or contractors working on the company’s advertising operations. The tool is not offered to customers or the general public, and it does not provide third parties with access to Google Ads accounts or data.
Google data use
The tool accesses only the Google Ads data required for internal campaign management and reporting. OAuth credentials and API tokens are stored in an encrypted secrets vault and are not included in public pages, source control, reports, or logs. Google Ads data is not sold or shared with third parties.
Security and control
- OAuth authorization is granted by an existing Google Workspace identity with legitimate access to the relevant Google Ads accounts.
- Write operations use explicit account and resource identifiers, budget limits, and post-write verification.
- Destructive changes are avoided; pausing is preferred so changes remain reversible.
- Access can be revoked at any time through the Google Account security settings.
